Naruto Chapter 17

After taking Kakashi to the old man's place, the old man's daughter laid him down and rested him. When Kakashi was sleeping, he woke up to Zabuza still being alive. The team 7 Naruto, Sasuke and sakura thought that Kakashi made sure he was dead, but a lady in a mask came to him and took him back to his place to rest.

Naruto Chapter 16

Naruto Chapter 15 (because I watched the episodes).

Naruto,Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi and Mr Tazuna went out into the woods, they were attacked by a masked man and Kakashi sensei protected them. But sadly he was caught in a bubble of water. Water cycle Explanation Writing

 Water cycle Explanation Writing

Over 3 billion years ago, we had water. We had a Water Cycle that still goes on till this day and on. The water evaporates from the ground, it turns into clouds and rain falls. The water cycle describes the movement of water throughout the Earth’s surface.

Water in the Water Cycle can exist as a solid, liquid, or gas. The hydrologic cycle is important because it is how water reaches plants, animals and us!

Genomics riddle

Yesterday on the 17th of September a man named Thierry from Auckland university joined TWP 4 and I and assisted us with our genomics. He taught us a game we could play to learn about animals. One person has to think of an animal and the other students have to ask questions to discover the animal the person is thinking of. I chose a fox and two other students asked question until they found out it was a fox.

New Zealand defeats Pandemic

New Zealand defeats Pandemic
In New Zealand a clan of 5 million people have defeated coronavirus. New
Zealand's Prime minister Jacinda Ardern, has announced that no cases of
covid- 19. As there were no cases, that then meant that they will be moving
down to alert level 1 at midnight monday. Jacinda Ardern has said “New Zealand
is ready!!).

It has been a long 40 day journey since the last case was recorded of community
service and 26 days since we last entered into alert level 2.

Extending to alert level 1 means that during events, there can be more than the
original amount but, we still have to wash our hands for sensitive bacteria.

Why are statues coming down around the world?

we have been reading.... Why are statues coming down around the world. It focuses on racisim and is based on George Floyd.

Why are statues coming

down around the

world?

June 14, 2020  Lilli Scott - Feature Writer

A statue commemorating Captain John Hamilton was pulled down in Hamilton by the City Council on Friday. This was because the local iwi and community believed the
statue was culturally offensive. Hamilton was a British leader in the New Zealand land
wars and died in the battle of Gate Pa in 1864. This battle also resulted in the death
of 80 Maori. John Hamilton apparently never set foot in the city which was named
after him.
This removal of the statue was inspired by the protests for the ‘Black Lives Matter’
(BLM) movement after the death of George Floyd in America. Floyd was killed by
police officers when he was arrested for suspicion of committing a minor crime.
The tragedy was caught on video and has sparked a worldwide conversation about
racism and oppression.
Although these are very complex issues, there is never “another side” to racism. Judging or
treating someone differently by the colour of their skin is wrong.     Lilli Scott 2020
Although these are very complex issues, there is never “another side” to racism.
Judging or treating someone differently by the colour of their skin is wrong.
Commemorating historical figures who were racist or culturally offensive may not be
appropriate. The process of reconsidering this, like what happened to the statue in
Hamilton, is also happening around the world.
Last week, statutes of a slave traders Edward Colston and Robert Milligan were
pulled down in the UK by protesters of the BLM movement. Here in New Zealand,
other towns have begun to question the place of some of their colonial statues.
Many of our streets and places have been named after culturally insensitive figures
and too few places inspired by Maori history.
The BLM protests are continuing and more people are discussing what can be done
to make things better for minorities. The removal in the statue of John Hamilton is
hugely significant. It has sparked a larger debate about if anything should be done
about the colonial names and influence in our country.
Have you been following the protests and removal of statutes in the media?
Let us know what you think
