What would I tell my Grandson about covid 19

 Grandson: Grandpa, I’m sick of going to school every single day!! I want to just learn from home because I can just relax in bed.

Grandpa aka Dereon: Haha learning from home isn't the best option. I know this because I had experienced it before!

Grandson: Why and how Grandpa?

Grandpa aka Dereon: There was a Virus which was called coronavirus! It was a really bad, contagious virus. Covid 19 was so bad that it caused lockdowns and social distancing. This virus began on the 31st of December in Wuhan, China, and that's where it all started.

Grandson: Wow!! That sounds fun!!

Grandpa aka Dereon: No it wasn’t fun. Schools were closed, stores were limited, the borders were not open and everyone was isolated. We all had to stay within our bubble

Grandson: Never mind, that must’ve been boring and unpleasant.

Grandpa aka Dereon: oh trust me, it wasn't fun! We’d rather go to school.

Grandson: Yeah never mind, I would just stay learning at school.

This is my comparsion of my prototec timed. On the 21st of june, I have scored a 70% but today, the 28th of june, I have gone down to 67%. I need to learn fraction, decimal, Sqrs, Roots and Factors. I hope I can improve next Monday.

Today in class each of us did our R.E work independently. We had to read a piece of script from the Bible and create it by illistrating a piece of gospile reading.

 Today in science Tech class, my group Thomas, Nasili and I have presented this google slides with the class. We had been working on this for about 5 or more weeks. My group won for this presentation and was reworded with 2 rist bands and one egg. The last day of science was chill.

Today the whole of TWP (Te Wairua Pakiki) Whanou has been working on the Ascension. The year 7 and 8 has different activities than year 6 and 5's. We all went into our whanou groups and worked in groups. this is what I have created with Tupua and Savior.

Vocabulary I Learn't From Tahuna Torea

At Tahuna Torea stundents from St Pius have discovered amazing parts of a tree and also plants. I have learnt about different layers of the trees like, the top layer which is called the emergent layer or the canopy layer.

I have created a piece of art that is supposed to be me. I have used colored pieces of paper and placed it on my piece of paper with water. I then left it over day to dry so that I can draw over my pencil writing with sharpie to make it stand out.
